Stefan Wanigatunga was born in California and raised in Alaska. He attended Seattle University and received a Film Studies degree in 2013. Stefan founded an after school filmmaking program for youth. He attended UCLA Film School and received an MFA in Film Directing/Production in 2019. Stefan started Sunset 8 to develop, produce, and distribute motion picture films.
