From class clown to veteran comedic performer, Alexandra Keshen has been performing her entire life. Born in New York and raised in Florida, Alexandra was encouraged to start performing by her 7th grade teacher who elected to enroll her in drama class instead of giving her yet another detention for standing on her desk and telling jokes to the class. At age 20 she enrolled in the New York Film Academy conservatory program in New York City, where she studied acting for film. While attending she was particularly focused on the Meisner technique as well as improvisation and voice and movement. She graduated in 2008. At age 23 she moved to LA where she enrolled in improv classes with Second City and Improv Olympic, using her natural comedic timing to excel quickly in both sketch comedy performance and scene writing. She performed with the sketch comedy groups The Reel Idiots and Sick Puppies, as well as in a running show with Second City called the Kuntz Family Hour. In addition to her comedy she has also been featured in a number of commercials and marketing campaigns in LA and Florida including Pet Supermarket and Golfstream (where she was featured on the side of city buses). She has also acted in student and independent films. Alexandra recently shot a pilot called Killing the Apologetic Girl and has been featured in the show Big Love.
