Khadar Ayderus Ahmed was born in 1981 in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia, but lives far from his native country, in Finland. He began by making several successful short films, including 'The Night Thief' in 2017. Developed as part of Cinefondation, his first feature film 'The Gravedigger's Wife' comes to fruition in 2021. It has been selected for the Cannes Film Festival 2021 (Critics' Week section)
