Amahre Palmer is a American Actress from Lacombe, Louisiana. She was discovered by a Ebony Magazine photographer who would launch her career as a Runway Model. Classically trained in ballet and modern dance, she never considered becoming an actress, but had aspirations of performing with the prestigious Alvin Ailey Dance Theater; However, her dream never materialized due to an injury suffered during a dance recital. A gifted orator, Amahre attended college and pursued a future in communications and law. She also began taking acting and singing classes to alleviate anxiety, not realizing every intent choice was leading her on a path that would become her destiny. Amahre has appeared in Off Broadway and Regional performances of The Color Purple, Frat House, The Wiz, and For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Was Enuf.
