Originally from Atlanta, Georgia; Johnny Kalita is a Chicago trained actor, where he performed in numerous short films, theatre productions, and improv shows over the last 10 years. He started his own company, Black Mamba Theatre Company, where he produced 'The Pillowman' by Martin McDonagh. He is a graduate of The Second City Conservatory, i.O. Chicago, and The Annoyance Theatre. Johnny is also a graduate of The Academy at Black Box Acting Studios, a meisner based conservatory founded and taught by Steppenwolf Ensemble Member Audrey Francis. Films soon to be released include; an internet trolling stalker in 'Carmilla Vive!' directed by Jeff Harder (dialogue mostly improvised), a substitute teacher caught in a love triangle in 'Cardboard Castle' directed by Dave Baer, and a mysterious man in an homage to the old Twilight Zone series 'The Anomaly', directed by Paul Saladino.
