Doris de Hilster

Doris de Hilster is a Brazilian clothes and costume designer from Rio de Janeiro, now living in Long Beach, California. Doris moved to the United States after marrying American artist, scientist, and filmmaker David de Hilster. She started Samba Collection, a clothes and costume store in Long Beach California and now designs and manufactures Brazilian carnival costumes selling to dancers and groups around the world. She has one daughter Luanda de Hilster with her husband David.
