Gal Nachshon

Born in a small Israeli Village, I was fortunate enough to experience New York City as a teenager and later again (after serving three years in the Israeli Defence Forces) as a Film Student. However, due to my constant migration across the Atlantic, often times I found myself in total isolation. With a dire need to share my emotions, and since there was no one around to listen, I began writing them down on paper. Initially as journal entries, later as poetry, and toward my twenties I found pure ecstasy in narrative prose. No longer was I alone as the fictional heroes and heroines of my story became avatars of sadness, or joy, and that gave me enough comfort to fight through the language and cultural barriers that have accompanied me all my life. It was only when I discovered filmmaking, starting with screenwriting, that I have found a home and a language that is fluent for me. Be it to express my most complex or abstract emotions and thoughts. Today nothing gives me more pleasure than being able to share my knowledge in this complicated realm of the Moving Image in the form of Professional Services as well as Education.
