Dayna Li

Dayna has directed 10 narrative and documentary shorts which have been recognized by 35+ festivals, including Austin, La Femme, Fort Lauderdale International, Woods Hole, Anchorage International, Dam Short, and SR Socially Relevant Film Festivals. Her film "Qafas" (2019) was nominated for a Student Short Jury Award at Austin and received Best Picture at New York Film Awards. Her films have been supported by the Zonta Club of Newport Harbor and the Dhont Family Foundation. She is a graduate of Chapman's MFA in film production, with an emphasis in directing.
