A native of Schuylkill County, Pa., Charlie Thomas grew up enjoying movies at drive-in theaters and community-based movie houses like the former Ritz in Saint Clair. In recent years, Charlie has been working with local independent filmmakers, proving he's a skilled character actor who can inject a scene with wicked tomfoolery or razor-edged seriousness. He also invests time to give the characters he inhabits memorable traits. For example, when filmmaker Stephen Pytak asked him to play a thug in the short film "The Purest Heart (2013)," Charlie came up with the character's name, "10K." Charlie also played the character in a music video Stephen directed for an instrumental track by Flip featured in "The Purest Heart" called "The Beach." Charlie went on to play "Bandana Man" in the short film "My Last Note (2015)" directed by Andrew Pizzo.
