Amit Waghchaure

A multidisciplinary artist with a strong foundation in Film and Fine Art, Amit Waghchaure is a lot more than his job title, 'Art Director and Production Designer'. Based in Mumbai, Amit has been gaining both experience and appreciation through his work with renowned production houses like Prakash Jha Productions, Friday Filmworks, Vyjayanthi Movies, Cineplay, among others. Telugu film 'Yevade Subramanyam' was his first independent feature. After an interesting career start, as the director of a short film titled 'Gaabha', which went on to win several awards at festivals around the country, Amit dove into theater for over 6 years. Art Direction became second nature for this formally educated painter, and the journey continues... Amit is working on several TVC's and Feature Films.
