From there, her love of writing flourished into a passionate way of expression. She began writing poetry, stories, articles and screenplays. By the mid-nineties, Renee had directed and wrote her first short film about teen drug abuse. With no experience, she began casting her friends for the character roles. She found directing and writing to be extremely rewarding. In 2002, Renee started writing various pieces for lit.org under then pen name, KraziRenee. At age 22, she found Kevin Spacey's website, Triggerstreet.org and rehashed her love of script writing once again. She always loved singing and was the front person of her first band, Alterbang in 1995. She once again picked up a mic and had her first live gig in 2006 with the Philadelphia based band, Volume Runner at Doc Watson's Pub. She sang a rendition of The Cranberries, Zombie and a duet for one of the band's original songs. By 2007, she had met an independent filmmaker through the site, Myspace.com. He approached Renee with a small role in a short film titled "Broken Hearted." She was reluctant to take the role but didn't regret it once she was there. They then began to host an online radio show together titled "Recluse Radio". The station involved all aspects of horror with Renee as comic relief. Chemistry between the two began to diminish and Renee did a few more short films with him before parting ways. In 2012, Renee began to use the site Twitter and made a lot of friends/connections through her love of films and comedy. She began to follow comedian, Chris Hardwick and found his tweets entertaining. He tweeted a general question for his book, The Nerdist about the best accounting software available. As a joke, Renee responded to his tweet "Rain Man, he's not software but he's damn efficient" Chris direct messaged Renee asking if he could use her tweet in his book. After publication, Renee came across her tweet in his book credited as KraziRenee once again. She became extremely determined to make a name for herself and keep to her love of writing and film making. Between writing articles and blogs, Renee gained an interest in modeling as a means to supplement her income. She did numerous fetish and professional photo shoots gaining momentum in the local modeling community. Keeping on her twitter account she began conversing with Troma founder, Lloyd Kaufman. She adored Troma's odd and outrageous horror films and asked if she could be a Tromette at her local Horror Convention, Monster Mania. Lloyd pointed her in the right direction and in March of 2013, she did her first convention for Troma. Around this time, Renee landed a small part for a film titled "Sodomaniac" directed by an Troma alumni, Tony Goggles. After Sodomaniac, Renee was approached by her friend Richard Myrie to do a dance trial video filmed at his college campus. The two had a lot of fun working on the video that they planned to do more projects together for the future. After that, she was again approached by Tony Goggles to play a role in the ABC's of Death 2 contest for his film, M is for Mime. She also was filming a project with her friend Richard titled "The World You Wanted" in which she did the special FX make up, co-directed, aided in casting and acted in. The film had no script and this was Renee's first hands on project that spun into her own co-created filming company, Vortex House Studios LLC. More projects are being planned at this time and the future holds various spots for both Vortex House Studios LLC. and Renee as an independent performer.
