China Taylor is an American actress, model and dancer born in New York to Steven Taylor and Tijon Robinson. She is the great-granddaughter of Golden Gate Quartet's second tenor, Henry Owens. She was four years old when she appeared in the commercial for Eatonville Fire Station in Orlando. At eleven years old, she was a supporting actress and featured dancer in the play "I Am Not Forgotten". In addition to her recently dancing on Glee, back up for Lady Gaga and Britney Spears and one of the Hoosier Daddies Dancers in the recent "All or Nothing" episode of Glee, she is currently a supporting actress and dancer in the play "Da Hip Hop Wizard of Oz", that is playing throughout California. China was one of the very few to make Lake Brantley High School's varsity dance team as a 9th grade freshman. For five years China was a member of Duvall Dance Academy's Company Team, performing in jazz and tap routines. She is technically trained in ballet, jazz and tap, but is no stranger to the art of freestyle. Her training started out with her teachers at Duvall Dance Academy and quickly begin to branch out to numerous dance conventions with various master choreographers. She has won numerous scholarships and awards in dance that includes: several Scholarships from The Pulse, Pulse Protégé, 2012-2013 Top Advanced Elite Protege Dancer Touring with the Pulse On Tour, she was a three-time Regional Outstanding Dancer/ Tap Scholarship and two time triple threat at NYCDA, a three-time Regional Elite Dancer at West Coast Dance Explosion, a two time Regional VIP at Jump, Regional Breakout Artist at NUVO and the two time Miss Teen at Ultimate Dance Cathy Roe. She is also a member of Willdabeast Adams immaBeast Company. Her specialty is versatility.
