Wil Shippy

Wil Shippy is an American director, composer and graphic designer. Best known for his poster design work for True Piracy (2013), Love and Paint (2014), Leviticus (2016), The Eye of Creation (2016), Haiti (2016), Black Snake in Sacred Waters (2017) and Spare Change VR (2018). Wil was born in Orange County, California in 1984. Musically, he began playing in bands as a teenager and eventually transitioned to television composing in his mid-20's. Having an "outside of the box" mindset with his music, he started experimenting with various household items, unconventional electronics and effects pedals to create unique sounds and esthetics that would best serve his projects. Wil eventually made the jump to directing and producing TV commercials, music videos and web videos.
