Lawrence Locke, born Lawrence Alexander Locke, Jr., is an American actor, author, and musician (monikered Locke Kaushal, or Locke) from Dale City, Virginia. Lawrence relocated to Los Angeles, California in September 2017. Shortly after, he enrolled in, and completed, a two-year intensive acting program at The Sanford Meisner Center in Burbank, California. Lawrence's most notable work is the 2020 short film "The Good Teacher," written and directed by Louis C. Jones, in which Lawrence (as well as the remaining main cast) received an Honorable Mention award for Best Acting Ensemble at the Independent Shorts Awards in Los Angeles, California. Lawrence also co-wrote the short film entitled "The Unattainable Piece," circa 2012, alongside Oscar-nominated Director Kevin Wilson, Jr.
