Actor
Date of birth : 02/17/1979
City of birth : Miami, Oklahoma, USA

Dustin Sisney was born in Miami, OK and lived all over the northeast portion of Oklahoma during his childhood. He lived in Muskogee for a short time and thus considers himself an Okie from Muskogee...like the Merle Haggard song. When he was 10 his family moved to the small southwest Missouri town of Cassville, MO. He graduated from Cassville High School where he lettered and excelled in basketball. He also played baseball as a youth and has played golf his entire life. Upon graduating from high school he attended Crowder College in Neosho, MO where he obtained his associates degree. A few years later he moved to Joplin, MO where he began his pursuit of becoming a broadcast journalist majoring in mass communications at Missouri Southern State University. After one semester he decided to take a break that lasted six years. In 2007 he eventually found his way to the stage in Joplin at Joplin Little Theatre. Though he never intended to be an actor, he did the play to become more familiar in the community to boost his mortgage business, he got bit and hasn't turned back since. After about two years on the local stage Missouri Southern came knocking and offered him an acting scholarship and he enrolled again majoring in communications (PR/journalism) and minoring in theatre. It's there where he received his formal acting training. It seemed to pay off too as he received the Best Supporting Actor award for his role as Biff Loman in 'Death Of A Salesman'. He graduated with his bachelor's in 2011 and kept doing plays while working in broadcast television advertising. In March of 2012 he relocated to fabulous Las Vegas, NV. He was there a whole four weeks before being cast in his first play. He spent a year and a half in Vegas continuing his stage work and it was here where he fell into television acting and the local independent film scene. After more training and some moderate success in Vegas an opportunity opened up for him to relocate to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career even further. Upon arriving in L.A. he was quickly cast in a few staged readings, a short film, a lead role in a cable TV episode and a supporting role in the smash L.A. theatre play 'Sunny Afternoon'. He currently resides in L.A. where he is actively pursuing the next step in his acting career.
