Originally from Upstate New York, Carl is an Actor/Producer based in Brooklyn. Carl spent his childhood in the Adirondack Mountains, studied Acting at Syracuse University, then moved to NYC to pursue his career. He played a recurring role on Hulu's "The Path," and has been on several other Network shows and independent films since. Carl has experience as a stage actor as well, often doing shows with the American Bard Theatre and helping to develop new work with festivals like The Fire This Time. Carl is an accomplished fight director, doing direction for an episode of "Mysteries at the Museum," the music video "Blow the Horns" and several different onstage productions in NYC. Carl is also a real-life "knight in shining armor." He won an episode of the full-contact fighting competition show "Knight Fight" on The History Channel, and has since gone on to make a big name for himself within the sport of Armored Combat, becoming one of the most recognizable faces in the country. He earned a spot on the Atlantic Regional team - The First Swords - in 2018, with whom he took a bronze medal at the 2018 New World Cup, and a gold medal at the 2019 Eastern Regionals in Tennessee. Carl has also distinguished himself as a duelist, taking Gold in sword and shield, and Silver in longsword at a city-wide tournament held in NYC in the fall of 2019. Carl expanded into the the producing world in 2019, when he began development on Steel Soldier, a documentary that explores PTSD and the benefits that combat sports offer to those who struggle with it.
