Brandon J. Woods hails from San Diego, California, where he grew up participating in athletics and took an interest in the arts at a young age, particularly music, which his father taught him. Excelling in academics and wrestling landed him acceptance into the University of California at Davis near Sacramento, CA, where he spent his first years on the Division-I UC Davis wrestling team while beginning his long scholastic journey beyond high school. At a fork in the road, Brandon eventually decided to focus on his studies, as well as make time for other passions, especially those more creative endeavors. Dance and music were where he most excelled through his days at Davis, although he continued to stay in his lane of fitness and health as well, even joining the Davis Judo Club for a time. After Davis, Brandon attended the University of California at San Francicso for his masters program, having decided to pursue medicine / science. He enjoyed his time in San Francisco, where he met a wide array of folks from all walks of life and continued to excel in his creative hobbies as well. His mind was expanded to the possibilities of what might lay ahead for him in the arts, taking more hold of his natural talents and refining them, such as by producing original music and lyrics on a more serious level. Always gifted at freestyle rap, lyrics came easily to Brandon while he took music quite serious for a time. Acting had always been an area of the arts Brandon was interested in and, so, took hold of the opportunity to be a part of a short film called Fight 4 Your Life when the opportunity presented itself via friend and director Bryan Bachar in the spring of 2012. This short eventually lead to the development of the feature length version of Fight 4 Your Life, which Brandon was cast in, once again as the lead character Fleet Blackwood, due to his charismatic and quite physically energetic performance in the original short. Production for the feature length version of Fight 4 Your Life began in the summer of 2013, a much more extensive and challenging role for Brandon. In August of the same year, he left for Boston to begin his education at Harvard Medical School, where he was to begin the long road to obtain his PhD in the medical field. Still attending Harvard, Brandon looks to the future of his career in medicine, striving to help others.
