Dr Leslie Wagner created Lady of the Lake Ministries to conduct psychotherapeutic missions in Africa and Asia, and to help front line health care workers and those in need during the pandemic. She is an actress, playwright, producer and photographer. She has had her fifth short play produced and her photography has been shown at the Scarab Club and the Grosse Pointe Artist's Association. She is also a clinical, health and design psychologist licensed in the states of Michigan and Florida. She is a global real estate advisor with Sotheby's International Realty of Grosse Pointe, Michigan. She regularly travels the globe as a Certified International Property Specialist of the National Association of Realtors. Most recently she has researched homes in Mexico, Egypt and Cuba. Dr. Wagner completed the Public Interest Design Training Program at the Harvard Graduate School of Design and is certified in Social Economic Environmental Design. She was a two year Clinical Fellow at Harvard Medical School's Massachusetts General Hospital. She completed her Clinical Internship in French and English at McGill University's Montreal General Hospital, and her Doctorate in Counseling Psychology at the University of Southern California (USC). At USC she was named a Presidential Fellow of the Leadership Institute, the highest honor awarded to USC's graduate and professional students. She is lovingly restoring her home, the historic 1850 Cadieux Farmhouse, in Grosse Pointe. It is the last remaining example of French frame architecture from the Ribbon Farm era. Dr. Wagner is a board member of the World Mental Health Coalition, Commodore of the Grosse Pointe Boat Club and Vice President of Administration for the Grosse Pointe Historical Society. She is past Vice President of Global Ties Detroit, hosting State Department invited leaders from around the world and past President of the Board of Directors of the International Institute of Metropolitan Detroit. She was an active board member of The Lake House, a gathering place for those touched by cancer. She conducted research at Boston University's Department of Counseling Psychology and Religion, and studied spirituality, leadership, and world religions in India, Israel, Afghanistan, and Europe. She has consulted to athletes, performers, celebrities and their families, couples, men, women, children, and leaders from around the globe. Dr. Wagner has created her own unique and authentic life as well. She danced on scholarship at Interlochen Center for the Arts, performed her one woman show as a professional actress in NY, LA, and Europe, and produced films at the American Film Institute and for Ford Motor Company. She has studied Leadership in Prague, Czech Republic; French Language at the Sorbonne in Paris; and Film and Commerce at College International de Cannes and the Cannes Film Festival in France. Her work on meditation in India led her to consult to Western businesses on adding Eastern wisdom, and to bring to Indian companies a greater understanding of Western business practices. She has studied mediation and conflict resolution at the Harvard Program on Negotiation and conducted research with Carol Gilligan on Gender Issues at Harvard University. She conducted research in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and consulted to the United Nations in Kabul, Afghanistan, co-facilitating the strategic planning meeting for 50 UN Executives. She has selected décor and hosted special events for the finest organizations in the world. Her mission is to help individuals, families, and organizations achieve their goals.
