Cassiopée (pronounced Cass-i-o-pay) is a Canadian actress, singer, dancer and acrobatic singer, now performing in Cirque du Soleil's Zarkana (directed by François Girard) in Las Vegas, after 2 seasons at the Radio City Music Hall (NY) and a tour (Madrid and Kremlin Theater, Moscow), as the main character Lia and its odd incarnations (the mutant ladies -Snake, Spider and Mandragora). Winner of multiple awards including Best Singer/Performer and Best Stage Presence at the FICG 2002, she also peformed in many musicals and reviews throughout Canada, Europe and Asia, including Don Juan (ADISQ winner "Show of the year" in 2004), Dracula-Between Love and Death, Sherazade-Les 1001 nuits, From Rock to Opera, Joe Dassin-La Grande Fête Musicale (which toured the US in 2007), Si Alys m'était chantée, Les Folie's de Paris, La Magie de Broadway, and countless others, for more than 3500 live performances. She also features on dozens of music recordings, including Zarkana's single "Whenever", written by Elton John and Nick Littlemore and produced by the late Phil Ramone. Cassiopée's first solo album was released in 2006. An actress, singer, dancer, makeup artist, impersonator, choreographer, meneuse de revue, physical and vocal coach, Cassiopée is also the vocalist for the metal band Anemonia. She was also featured in many major events, including Canada Day, Paris/Québec sous les étoiles, Rencontres (Quebec City's 400th anniversary), Show Harley, Méga Fureur, Anti-Gala Karv!, Gala de l'Adisq, and many others.
