Amy was born in New South Wales and grew up in Queensland, Australia. She completed her Bachelor of Creative Industries majoring in Drama at Queensland University of Technology. She relocated to Melbourne in 2008 where she trained and performed in theatre, film, commercial and voice over projects. In 2019, she portrayed the role of 'Heather' in Morgan Lloyd Malcolm's, 'The Wasp' for Brighton Fringe Festival in the UK where she has lived since 2018.
