Gabriele Cecconi

Gabriele Cecconi studied Film History and graduated from Florence University. He teaches film technique and filming art in the Cinema School Anna Magnani in Prato. He is artistic Director of the Mauro Bolognini Film Festival in Pistoia and he is President of the Film Association Alfafilm. Mr. Cecconi started making movies in 1985 always selecting the themes and writing the contents of his works. He has directed several short and medium films length works and won 8 prizes during national presentations. "The seminarian" (2013) is Gabriele's first feature film. The screenplay received, in 2011, funds promoting the Tuscan Filmaking development. In 2012, the same Tuscan Region financed the making of this film in the first work category. .
