Ana-Maria Alvarado

Ana-Maria Alvarado is a Canadian-Latinx American actress who was born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras and moved to Canada as a teenager. After graduating from UBC with a degree in Political Science and working in international aid, she became a yoga teacher and then found her true vocation in Acting. As a story teller, Ana-Maria is committed to exploring the classical teachings of Strasberg and Stanislavski. It was these methods that first gave her permission to give truth, respect and connection to the stories of the characters she plays. She has appeared in short films as well as international TV series including The Good Doctor and Shadowhunters.
