Bulat Yusupov

Bulat Yusupov was born on 15 of September, 1973 in Ufa. He graduated as a cinematographist from VGIK university. There Yusupov studied in master-actor Vladimir Naumov's studio. Bulat Yusupov is a renown film director of Bashkortostan republic, a member of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia, a member of the Guild of Filmmakers of the Russian Federation. He is also an Honoured Art Worker of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Yusupov was awarded the State Republican Youth Prize in literature and art, in the the name Shaikhzada Babich, in 1996. The Bulat Yusupov Film School was founded in cooperation with the Public Fund for the Development of the City (Ufa) in 2009. Throughout his filmmakimg career Bulat Yusupov hosted 23 cinematographists' graduation screenings, two "Kinozreniye" international film festivals and the International Film Forum "Word of the Land".
