Born in Madrid and grew up in Valencia. Graduated with MSc in Industrial Engineering, he is an engineer and part time photographer. In 2012 he studied cinema at Escuela Off, Valencia, where he made his first short movie 'El Poder de la Bata' (2013) along other students. Three years later, after being working in France, India and Emirates, he met some people interested in cinema who decided to make a short movie in Dubai. José Manuel wrote the script for the short film 'The Last Exit' (2017-2018). He also played the main role of the movie after completing three intensive acting courses in Dubai (Two of them in Ductac -Dubai Community Theather & Arts Center). In 2017 he also collaborated with cinema students and professionals in Dubai where he plays another role in the short movie 'Game's Over' (SAE Institute) and got involved in another project inside the photography area of the short movie 'Trail Lights'. He extended the script of his short 'The Last Exit' for a feature film and at the same time participated in the short movie 'El Expolio', filmed in Valencia in 2018. In 2020 during the pandemic he collaborated again with the director Abeer Abdullah (Trial of Lights, 2018) in UAE in a new short produced in UAE. This time within the production of Gold of the Maze, acting in the role of the Professor, the leader of an international crime organization.
