In 2020, Bryson directed the King family's video address commemorating the anniversary of the 1968 assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. It was filmed in the United Nations' General Assembly and released on NBCNews.com. Bryson also directed and shot the NAACP PSA voiced by Morgan Freeman for the 2020 presidential election. It aired on The Rachel Maddow Show on MSNBC.
