Marcos Horacio Azevedo is an audiovisual storyteller. He started his career in advertising in 1996. After a few years working in agencies, he moved to the US in order to pursue his MFA in Film and Media Arts. During his graduate program, Marcos found his passion in film editing and between 2000 and 2006, he worked as a film and tv editor in Boston and New York. In 2007, upon his return to Brazil, he decided to bring his experience in both advertising and cinema together and opened Tatuí Filmes. Having consolidated the company as the "go to" creative boutique in the local film and tv market, he moved to Beverly Hills in 2012. Since then, he's been the creative director for Tatuí. Besides overseeing the work of its team, Marcos is in charge of prospecting clients in the US and developing new concepts and branding ideas. In 2014, Marcos began his career as a director, with the documentary "The Myth of Garrincha" for ESPN Films' award winning series 30 for 30s.
