Louis was born in Singapore to a Chinese mother and French father. He spent the first ten years of his life travelling the world before setting up roots in Canada. He was raised speaking 3 languages (French, Mandarin and English). In his formative years Louis was a top 10 swimmer in Canada and an avid scuba diver. He is also a certified PADI Scuba Diving Instructor.
