Ava West

Ava West is a British actress, and model. At the age of 17 she moved to Los Angeles to train as a method actor at The Lee Strasberg Institute of Theatre and Film, having aspired to be an actor from an early age. Two years later Ava made her Broadway debut in Legally Blonde The Musical as Elle Woods at The Marilyn Monroe Theatre in LA. In preparation for her stage debut, Ava was inspired to further educate herself in voice and dance techniques, having previously attained grade 8 in Ballet. In 2014, Ava was accepted to The American Musical and Dramatic Academy, where she studied Musical Theatre. During her course she honed her skill set, working on accents, dance, and a history of film and theatre. In 2015 Ava booked her first screen, playing Rina in Rain, a short film directed by Jouri Smit, which went on to compete in independent film festivals. Since returning to London in early 2016 Ava has appeared in TV commercials for brands such as Select Fashion, Nipi Coolers, Lash Perfect, and Bianca Elgar. She has also worked on numerous short films, including Run Towards, directed by Graham Hughes and produced by RSA. In January 2017 Ava made her feature film debut in Madness in the Method, a dark comedy directed by Jason Mewes.
