Peter Pahor

Peter Pahor is a filmmaker based in London. He started his career in the early 2010s working as music composer and producer for small indie bands and companies. After few years his passion for soundtracks developed and due to the lack of opportunities he decided to start shoot his own content. The passion for filmmaking grew quickly in him and from 2013 he made that his main profession. In 2015 he flew to Los Angles where he directed his first short films "Love" a drama on the concept of male love. He moved to London in 2016 where he set up his production activity working in music videos, shorts, fashion films, docs for companies, artists, athletes etc... His work has been selected in some of the major film festival around the world like the La Jolla Fashion Film Festival (biggest film fashion festival in the world). The singular style on his work comes from a mixture of cinematic, visual and graphic elements and the recurrent theme of darkness. In 2017 he funded the cinematic rock music and film project "The Director's Cuts" where he writes, compose and produce music films following the topic of Void, Trauma and Depression. His major influences in the work of The Director's Cuts are the music of Hans Zimmer and Ennio Morricone, the cinematic movement Dogme 95 and Italian Neo Realism and the epic dark tone of the guitar sound of industrial bands like Rammstein.
