Catherine Kelleher is an Eora/Sydney based screenwriter, filmmaker and singer/songwriter. Best known for her work as electronic pop artist Catcall, she released her debut album The Warmest Place in 2012 through Ivy League Records. In 2013 Catherine moved into screenwriting and filmmaking; co-creating and writing the comedy web series The Casuals and writing, directing and producing her short film BIG BAD WORLD which screened at several local and international film festivals. In 2019 Catherine received Screen Australia development funding for her comedy/drama series High Rotation, while her drama pilot Iron Mountain was a finalist in the Screencraft Fellowship and the Final Draft Big Break competition. Iron Mountain was recently developed in the Imagine Impact Australia program and has been optioned by US/Canadian producers. Catherine previously worked as a development executive at Lingo Pictures (Lambs of God, The Secrets She Keeps, Upright) supported by the Screen Australia Enterprise Program and is currently working as a development executive at SBS. She has released several Catcall singles since her debut album with 2017's One Time, 2019's One Desire and 2021's Feel the Fear. She recently directed a second short film Imoan, a queer horror set to premiere in 2023.
