Ever since he could remember Christian Caputo has wanted to be a filmmaker. After his Uncle gave him his first camera he started to experiment with different characters and stories in front of the camera. At age 15 he made his first short film and continued to write stories. Today he continues to hone his craft, continues to write and make films. His directing style has been compared to John Carpenter for its slow and moody style of films. His most recent film Black Sun won the Orson Welles Award for Best Narrative Short at the California Film Awards.
