Lindsey was born and raised in Portsmouth on the south coast of England in 1976. At age 18 she moved to London and attended Mountview Theatre School where she trained in Musical Theatre. After working as an actress Lindsey found herself drawn to the world of producing and in 2008 Lindsey founded Trailer Trash Theatre, a company dedicated to giving opportunities to minority groups and directed a UK tour of the popular New Zealand play 'Foreskin's Lament'. From there Lindsey continued to produce UK tours and also ran high profile venues in the UK including London's iconic Roundhouse and the historic Riverside Studios. Lindsey also began to mentor young people training in the industry including those who had a difficult start in lives. In 2010 Lindsey founded and produced the Twin Peaks UK Festival, an event celebrating David Lynch and Mark Frost's cult TV show Twin Peaks (1990). The festival ran for 10 years after being officially licensed by CBS and Twin Peaks Productions, with Lindsey also publishing her first Twin Peaks inspired cookbook 'Damn Fine Cherry Pie' in 2016. Lindsey has worked extensively at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe both producing and running venues. Her career has seen her work with respected companies such as The Jim Henson Company and The Royal Shakespeare Company and in 2015 Lindsey also worked with Yashraj Films on the Bollywood hit 'Fan' and also worked with Jonathan Pryce on the short film 'One Last Dance'. Lindsey has penned 5 short films which are in development and frequently makes appearances on both TV and Radio.
