Xiomara Yordan

Xiomara Yordán is a Latina actress who lives in New York. She was born in Puerto Rico to Luis Fernando, a doctor, and Beverly Yordán, a former receptionist and caretaker. She has three brothers, and one sister, and they all have Spanish and Italian descent. Xiomara studied acting at the Neighborhood Playhouse, where she first went to for a summer intensive in 2011. She then decided to move to the city to continue her studies in New York. Ever since she was in 4th grade, Xiomara found a pristine interest in the art of performing. She started training as a dancer and was part of her school's main performers for all shows and events. It was normal to then follow her interests in the world of acting for theater and film. One of her greatest inspirations, aside from all great choreographers and directors she has trained with, is her uncle Dino. A retired lawyer who always lived with the ambition of becoming a stage actor. "My uncle introduced me to the magic of New York. Billy Elliot was the first musical we went to see together, and it was just as inspiring. I will always remember my time with him." Most recently Xiomara filmed an episode for Fantasy Island Season 2 which comes out this Fall of 2022. She also has a role in the upcoming Disney Plus TV Series, Gina Yei. She has been in numerous commercials both in New York and Puerto Rico. She is also working on her upcoming short film which she plans to premiere next year in 2023. As an actor, one of her goals is to be part of more inclusive latinx-led work, and to help expand the Latin community in both Film and TV.
