Carlellé Mercedes Parr

Mercedes works as an Actress, Editor & Producer based in Hollywood, CA and is dedicated to bringing out the best in short and long form film content, as well as trans-media content. Mercedes was born Carlellé Mercedes Parr in Greensboro, NC. Her family moved several times as a child until her family settled in Pittsburgh PA. Mercedes always had a passion for the arts. In grade school, she was in a Thespian Group where she performed lead roles in plays at various prestigious venues such as the O'Reilly Theater, Heinz Theater, and The Bynum Theater in Pittsburgh PA. Later, she auditioned to attend Lincoln Park Performing Arts High School, where she became known as a triple threat while undergoing three auditions to study in their competitive musical theater department. At a young age, Mercedes recognized the importance to give back to her community and help younger children find their calling in the arts. She volunteered her weekends to teach young girls to dance at local art centers and universities where she was later introduced to film production as well. After she graduated from high school she went on to study Cinema and Digital Arts at Point Park University. While in college, she would work on various film sets as an extra, production assistant or stand-in for feature films in her spare time. At 19, she moved to New York City to continue to pursue filmmaking and was hired by an NYC local Production Company. Later, the company expanded to Los Angeles in 2012 and produced various music videos under Interscope & Bad Boy Entertainment where Mercedes functioned as the youngest Editor and Casting Director in the company on various Music Videos, TV Shows, Commercials & Short Films. In 2016 Mercedes went to study at the Prestigious M.E.T Film School in London U.K for their summer intensive. Upon returning to the states, she was recruited by a reputable production company in Washington D.C working under successful and well know film & TV directors & producers as a production coordinator and editor. As of 2018, Mercedes lives and works in Los Angeles, California as a full-time filmmaker and human rights activists.
