Mackenzie Dayle

Mackenzie Dayle is an 19 year old Pop singer, songwriter, actor and dancer. She has been performing for audiences since the age of 5, and won her first of many competitions that same year. With her incredible passion for music, her numerous years of stage performance and her background in dance Mackenzie is a captivating stage performer. Mackenzie demands the excitement of her audience and puts on electrifying performances that combines dance and fashion with her rich vocals. Mackenzie's music revolves around the idea of being an original and creative artist. Her daring style allows her to experiment in all aspects of her music. Mackenzie is never one to be afraid of being different. With her musical and fashion originality, she stands out. The message she promotes through her music is that "individuality should be celebrated". Her mission is to be a role model and an inspiration for "self love" in people of all ages. Mackenzie's experience and accomplishments are extensive. She has been featured many times on City TV, The Global Morning Show, 91.7 The Bounce Radio Station, and shared the stage with "The David Fosters Band" at the Winspear Centre. She has been requested to perform the National Anthem for several NHL and CFL teams. Mackenzie has also taken her talents to the "seas" where she performed on The Royal Caribbean Cruise Line and Celebrity Cruise Lines. She was first runner up in "The Bounce Showdown" radio competition, which gained her local radio exposure. Earlier in her career, Mackenzie spent 7 years as the lead singer of a youth rock band which has given her insurmountable experience when working with musicians. She has been writing songs since the age of 8 with the influences of Queen, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, and Michael Jackson. She released her first album entitled "Give Me Some Action" in 2012. Singles from the album have been featured on CJSF 90.1 FM (Burnaby), Stolen Soul SFU (Vancouver), NR92 Nait Radio (Edmonton), CJIM Online Radio (Montreal). She has completed 2 showcase tours in Eastern and Western Canada, which combined over 15 cities, promoting the release of the album. Mackenzie has also been the creator/direction/headliner for 2 large scale shows entitled "The Wait is Over" (2010) and "Electrified" (2014). As well as an accomplished singer, Mackenzie is gifted dancer and actor. She has 15 years of dance experience in multiple genres. She has trained in Hip Hop dance at KORE Dance Studios, who's resident dance crew won the World Dance Championships in Hawaii this year. She trains with world renowned choreographer Carlo Atienza who has opened for Boys II Men, Nelly Furtado, Akon, The Game, Neyo, Sean Kingston, and has worked alongside multiple "Americas Best Dance Crew" Winners. This past year, she was involved in choreographing a Hip Hop/Contemporary fusion group dance. The dance has been chosen to be performed in NextFest 2014. In the realm of acting, Mackenzie has 8 years of acting training under her belt, and has performed key roles in the local productions of "Into the Woods", and "Les Miserables". She was involved in the pilot of a Crime TV show, as well as a National Geographic documentary. She was second in the running for the role of Mallory in the successful TV series "Heartland". Mackenzie has been working with Wendy Starland, who was soely responsible for discovering Lady Gaga. Starland was honored by The Songwriters Hall of Fame for her top 10 hit song, and has worked with names such as Michael Bolton, The Foo Fighters and Mike Posner, to name a few. Mackenzie has also been working with Kent Speakman who is COO and partner in the budding social media website/app "Fameus". In the past year, Mackenzie has traveled to Los Angeles on multiple occasions to work with high end producers such as Dave Schuler, Sarom, Ghost Kasan, Lars Jensen, and Tero Potila. These producers have worked with artists such as Lil Wayne, Pink, Cee Lo Green, Nicki Minaj, Busta Rhymes, Eminem, Rick Ross, Flo Rida, and Jennifer Lopez. Mackenzie's recently won Hot 107 Radio "Hot Factor"? Contest with her currently unreleased song "Flames in the Dark". Along with a hefty prize and extensive radio play, she was given the opportunity to open for International artists Mia Martina and Kardinal Offishal at the Taste of Edmonton Festival.
