Nicolas Iordanou is a filmmaker and a documentary photographer, from Cyprus. He worked as a conflict photographer for several years and then focused on documentary filmmaking and photography. He is mostly concerned about the human condition documenting issues such as displacement, homelessness and art. He has collaborated with the European Capital of Culture Pafos 2017 (Cyprus) and Aarhus 2017 (Denmark) through which he has created and produced major projects. In 2017 he has curated and participated in the photography exhibition titled 'The Alien Trail' with Magnum photographers Antoine d'Agata, Nikos Economopoulos and Bieke Depoorter and also created a documentary and published a book with the same title. His films have been screened and awarded in several international film festivals. He is the founder and director of the Paphos International Film Festival in Cyprus.
