Tommy Naess holds a BFA from Parsons School of Design in New York. He started out as a commercial advertising photographer and has had a long and successful career working on a wide range of projects. The transition into working with film as a media began by creating music videos for bands that he photographed and commercials that where filmed at the same time as an advertising campaign was photographed. His first short film "Brother - 2014" has been screened at several film festivals around the world including Palm Spring Short Fest. His second film "The Apartment - 2015" he tells a story about a man who is tiered of his current life and want to feel how it would have been if he can just change his life, if not just for an afternoon. "Swimming Lessons" his third short tells a strong story about cultural differences and arranged marriage thru an immigrant girl living in Norway. The short film "The Apartment" is being made into a feature with premiere set for 2016. He also has another feature "The Tenor" set to go into production in 2017.
