A diverse writer of more than fifteen scripts, he believes that each genre is equally fascinating and strives to combine original storytelling with rich characters and structure. As of the spring of 2021, he is in pre-production for his first horror film Voice of Shadows and adapting the popular short film, Straight A, into a feature length script with Todd lien. He's the director of multiple short films and has also worked as a film historian and script reader. His works have placed in such contests as: Creative World Awards, Blue Cat, Write Movies and the Nashville Film Festival. Since going professional in 2016, he has been hired to write five scripts for various clients including a large scale animation feature, a high concept western and a film noir. In 2018 he created and produced the graphic novel series, The Unicorn and the Fox, which has been adopted by the subscription services of Amazon Kindle and comiXology. Despite not being a great student in high school, Nick graduated from the University of Minnesota, where he studied Film History, Film Production, English and creative writing. He was an NCUR recipient for his first short film, The Dynamics of progress. There he also completed two film history research grants with now long time friend and mentor, Dr. Robert Silberman. He considers himself a student of film history and literature to this day and recently completed his list of his favorite top two hundred films. The top twenty are listed below. 1.
