Matthew Garcia

Matthew Garcia is a film and theater actor born in McAllen, TX, a small town located in the Rio Grande Valley on the Mexican border. In high school, Matt discovered his passion for acting while starring in main stage plays and creating short films with friends. For his broadcast news experience, he was awarded the 2nd Place Anchor at the Student Television Network competition. Eager to continue an education in the arts, Matt attended St. Edward's University in Austin, TX, and graduated with a BA in Theater Performance. Moving to Los Angeles, Matt furthered his studies learning the Meisner technique at the prestigious Elizabeth Mestnik Acting Studio, landed roles in a variety of national and regional commercial ads, created, produced, and starred in a series pilot On The Rocks, and took the stage in performances of The Importance of Being Earnest and Comedy of Errors. In his spare time, Matt enjoys playing the drums, cooking, and staying active outdoors.
