Christian Blake Tagle was born in McAllen, Texas, in 1991 to Letty Tagle and Alonzo Tagle, a Hispanic salesman for Frito-Lay from the Rio Grande Valley. Christian grew up in San Juan, Texas and graduated from PSJA North High school where he was trained in acting and directing through the theater program led by Mr. Gilbert Zepeda and Bryan Honl. Since graduating Christian attended Texas Bible Institute in Columbus, Texas where he furthered his knowledge and skill for film all the while learning more about the Bible and who Jesus Christ truly is to him. Blake began making films at a shockingly young age using his mother's web-cam from her job at the technology center of the local school district. He used a number of his monster action figures to recreate classic scenes from some of his favorite films such as Jurassic Park and any of the original Godzilla films produced by Toho. He moved on to making films involving real people (mainly his friends), and his Canon XL-2, taking inspiration from some of today's top Hollywood directors such as Christopher Nolan, J.J. Abrams and David Fincher. Christian has become an innovative and independent filmmaker who works everyday to further the the value of storytelling through visual media. He has made it a point to strive to make Hollywood blockbuster style films that stay true to the meaning and aesthetic of the story that is being told with little to no budget. Blake wants to make films that send a strong encouraging message of hope not only through the stories he tells, but through his accomplishments as an individual as well. He strongly believe's as a filmmaker that sending a strong message of hope to others will encourage them to know that they can accomplish anything that they set their minds to. At the tender age of 19, Christian became the founder and CEO of Legit Pictures. He started the company from a passion that yearned to tell great stories all over the world. Growing up in the Rio Grande Valley, his sense in film direction has earned him several awards for cinematic achievements at multiple festivals across South Texas. Having over twenty short films under his belt, Christian is beginning to move forward on to feature filmmaking with his debut film, "Ingress" set to hit the festival circuit late 2015. Christian also enjoys sitting down and binge-watching television shows and/or movies to "further his knowledge in filmmaking".
