Saman Giraud is of Iranian heritage. She was born and raised in Vienna, Austria where she attended a french part-time boarding school. She grew up multilingual and is fluent in French, German, English and Farsi. At the age of 12 she had her first performance on stage in the play " Die Schlimmen Buben in der Schule" by Johann Nestroy where she got the leading role of a boy called "Willibald".
