Waddah Swar

Waddah Swar is a Bahraini stand-up comedian, writer and actor. Waddah Swar has built a solid reputation as one of the Middle East's most prominent comedians and actors. Swar was one of the original members of the movement that kick-started stand-up comedy throughout the GCC, opening for Ahmed Ahmed and Maz Jobrani in Bahrain during their Axis of Evil Comedy Tour in 2008. He first began stand-up comedy in 1998 in the United States, inspired by Martin Lawrence's 'Run Tell That' show in Washington, DC.
