Veronica Somers

Veronica Somers was born in Pasadena, Maryland on July 11, 1995 to Jill (Armitage), who is a nurse, and Robert Somers, who is a government computer expert. She has two brothers, Bobby (her fraternal twin) and Ross. Before Veronica became an actress she was involved in karate, sailing, and modeling, none of which she held a passion for. Her interest in acting began when she was cast in plays during her senior year of high school. When she reached college she knew she wanted to major in acting. In her freshman year she was cast as Becky in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (2013) and then as The Model in The Blue Room (2013). She was also cast in Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson (2013) when the theater department realized she could sing and play guitar. The following year she was cast in Les Liaisons Dangereuses (2014) and received an Irene Ryan nomination. During both her freshman and sophomore years Veronica was selected to represent her school at the annual Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival. In 2014, her career took a turn when she was approached during a college dance class and asked to become a professional ballroom dancer. Within a year she was a certified Ballroom Dance Instructor working for Arthur Murray.
