Jack grew up in Carson City, Nevada, but spent his summers with his grandparents in Southern California. In his youth, Jack traveled to many movie filming locations throughout the Western states with his Grandfather, Wayne Cutlip, who was a Hollywood Wrangler and Horse Trainer during the 1950's, 60's and 70's. Jack was fortunate to have experienced life on location with many films such as Duel at Diablo (1966), The Way West (1967), Paint Your Wagon (1969), Big Jake (1971), The Cowboys (1972), Cahill, U.S. Marshal (1973), and The Shootist (1976), just to name a few. Jack earned his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Houston, in Houston, Texas. He went on to a career in Law Enforcement after earning a Law Degree from McGeorge School of Law, in Sacramento, California. Jack is married to Jeanette S. Rowland (2011). Jack now follows his passion for acting; he gravitates toward the Western genre as a tribute to his Grandfather; however, Jack is a versatile and continually evolving actor and brings a lifetime of experiences and skills to diverse characters in Film and Television. In 2015, Jack was Co-Grand Marshal for the 77th Nevada Day Parade, which took place on October 31, in Carson City, Nevada. Nevada Day is an official State holiday commemorating Nevada's admission to the Union in 1864. Former Grand Marshals of the Nevada Day Parade include actor Clark Gable in 1951 and Co-Grand Marshals, actors Lorne Greene and Michael Landon in 1964. During 2014 and 2015, Jack performed with the ensemble cast of the "Virginia City Outlaws" Wild West outdoor live theater show. The "Outlaws" still perform several shows daily, from May to October, in Virginia City, Nevada. In 2014, Jack was pictured as a Western cowboy in the April edition of Sunset Magazine (p.66-67). In 2012, Jack co-founded the Nevada-based Old West theater troupe "The Mayfield Gang" which performed regularly until 2018 at various special events and functions. Jack is a lifelong bodybuilder and still trains five to six days a week. He also enjoys hiking and camping in the Lake Tahoe area when his schedule permits.
