Meghan Weinstein is a Canadian director, screenwriter and producer based in Los Angeles. Her films capture the absurd and often hilarious complexities of human connection, while featuring carefully casted ensembles and eye-catching imagery. Her coming-of-age comedy, Trippin' with the Folks, won several awards in 2017 including Best Short Film and Best Supporting Actress. She's directed two award-winning web series; the off-the-wall sketch comedy, My Delivery Guy, can be watched on Youtube, as well as the web-series Terms and Conditions, which earned her a Best Director nomination in 2019. She holds a BFA in Fine Art from OTIS College of Art and Design and MFA in Filmmaking from New York Film Academy. Her first feature film, The Influencer, which she wrote, produced and directed, will be released in Fall 2021. She was a producer of The Djinn, which premiered in theaters and on IFC Midnight in May 2021 and distributed by IFC Films. "Garnering an 88% on Rotten Tomatoes, Djinn's premiere saw a promising $1004 per screen average and brought home over 40 grand. Few films have been able to break this mark in the limited-release space during the pandemic." - Variety.com
