Mike Hayes

Born Michel Hayes in Washington DC. Mike attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC, became a member of the Black Theater Alliance (BTA), performing frequently off Broadway with the Alonzo Players. While director of Male Modeling for the Barbizon School of Modeling NYC, Mike was "house model" for the Musingwear tennis line of famed designer Oleg Cassini. He appeared on the TV show "Kid's Say The Darnedest Things" with Art Linkletter at age 7, has toured as a lead soloist in the international musical show "Up With People!", and also served as Coordinator of Special Projects for the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA). Most recently, Mike can be seen in Netflix's "House of Cards" in the role of "Ben", and season 4 of "VEEP" on HBO as "Mel". He resides in Maryland with his wife (Liberty) of 24 years and has one daughter (Saron).
