American professional wrestler best known for his work for CHIKARA as Jolly Roger, a wrestling pirate. Debuted at CHIKARA's April 5, 2003 event in the Double Jeopardy battle royal, which was co-won by Icarus (Ronald Grams) and Matt Vandal. Wrestled for CHIKARA, Far North Wrestling, Allied Powers Wrestling Federation, Championship Wrestling Federation (Pennsylvania), Jersey Championship Wrestling, Inter Species Wrestling (Canada) and other promotions for years. Teamed for a time with Lance Steel, a wrestling time-traveling knight, as Knight Eye for the Pirate Guy. Changed his ring name to J-Ro in 2013 and used it in the New York Wrestling Coalition and 5 Boroughs Wrestling. His last appearance for CHIKARA and in the Jolly Roger gimmick was at "CHIKARA King of Trios 2014 Night I," September 19, 2014. GEKIDO (17 and Pieces of Hate [Jigsaw (Ed McGuckin) and the Shard (John Silver]) defeated Knight Eye for the Pirate Guy and Princess Kimberlee (Kimberly Frankele) when 17 forced Jolly Roger to tap out after trapping a wristlock behind Roger's leg. After the match was over, Jolly Roger told Jigsaw (who is Jolly Roger's brother) that he was not his brother. Starting in 2015, McGuckin abandoned the gimmick and renamed himself Tyler Murphy. He won his first title at "NYWC Trust No One 2016," July 28, 2016, by winning a ten man gauntlet match for the vacant NYWC Fusion Title. He held the title until he lost it to Big O at "NYWC Psycho Circus XV" on February 25, 2017.
