Rob Hedrick has an extensive background in live sports and television production. Creativity and quality drive Rob Hedrick's skills as a clear communicator and unique storyteller. Those skills along with his ability to direct, shoot, and edit, are why industry professionals keep his name at the top of their shortlists. His experience ranges from producing award-winning content for the NBA, NHL, FOX, and other Networks, to building and operating post-production operations. He's designed broadcast studios and implemented strategies for streamlining facility operations including OTT design. Rob has won multiple Emmy and Telly awards, including an Emmy nomination for software he developed to live-stream news and weather events while working in Oklahoma. Rob managed technical operations for national sports telecasts, and live events, including directing the Emmy awards in Washington, D.C. He has worked with all major broadcast and cable networks to produce and deliver award-winning content. He has served as Executive Producer for a sports network in Washington, D.C., where he worked with the NBA, NHL, NCAA, and WNBA to coordinate both live and post-produced programming. As a member of the network's launch team, he helped create an industry-leading OTT platform that delivered original, compelling stories. During the pandemic, Rob has engineered a remote production setup to create original programming for the NHRA on Fox and Fox Sports. You will find him regularly shooting short films or producing documentaries. After moving to Los Angeles, Rob joined the Television Academy and the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers.
