Matthew Valente

Matthew Chai-Fong "Matt" Valente (born June 27, 1979) is an American physician and actor. He has appeared in four episodes of TLC's hit series Untold Stories of the ER and Sex Sent Me to the ER. He has been featured in the Chicago Tribune, Medical Daily, Uproxx, and Huff Post. He is most popular for his appearance on "Stuck on Me", season 1, episode 19, of Sex Sent Me to the ER. During the show he portrays himself treating a Chicago man who inadvertently superglues his hand to his penis. Matt was born and raised in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. He attended college at The University of Michigan, followed by medical school at Wake Forest University. In 2005 he moved to Chicago to specialize in Emergency Medicine. He completed a three year residency program at the University of Chicago Hospitals, serving as chief resident during his final year. He is a board certified emergency medicine physician and continues to practice in the Chicagoland area.
