Ada Simbo was most recently seen on BET's Criminals at Work as Carolyn Towns and in the TV series Delayed Gratification, playing Rachel. Born in, Sierra Leone, West Africa, Ada's love for acting derived from theatre, Shakespeare to be exact. Ada has worked on several independent films including Road Rage: A Bleak Comedy (Brad Mays, Light song Films, 2015) and Love Songs Weren't Meant to Make You Cry (Rodney L. Cherry Productions, 2017), and most recently 2 short Faith-based films that were a part of Marcus A. Siler's film, You Matter to Me (2018). Ada's Television roles include the above mentioned lead, Carolyn Towns in the BET Network's Criminals at Work (Episode 108; 2015) and the role of Rachel(mom) for Season 1 & 2 of Delayed Gratification (Tinman Creative Productions, 2016 & 2017). She has filmed a few episodes for web series, including The Adventures of Jamel (Jayson Musson, 2015), and Make it Work (Angela French, 2017). Ada enjoys traveling and has been to 22 countries, speaks French, is a vocalist, and a certified Zumba instructor. Her Masters in Psychology serves her well in her roles. Ada envisions her acting career coming full circle with the opportunity to work on Broadway.
